JIM 94
The "Journées d'Informatique Musicale" were born in Bordeaux on March 25 and 26, 1994.JIM94.They have been hosted by the LaBRI (Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche enInformatique) and organized by Myriam Desainte-Catherine, Christian Eloy and Marie-Hélène Serra.
JIM 95
The JIM'95 took place in Paris on April 7 and 8 1995. Organized by François Pachet, Franck Brown and Rémy Mouton, they have been hosted by the LAFORIA (Laboratoire Formes et Intelligence Artificielle - Institut BlaisePascal).
JIM 96
The JIM'96 took place in Basse Normandie, on the Tatihou island, from May 16 to 18 1996. They have been organized by Gérard Assayag, Marc Chemillier and Christian Eloy within the GREYC surroundings.
JIM 97
The JIM'97 took place in Lyon on June 6 and 7 1997. They have been organized by GRAME in collaboration with the bibliothèque de Lyon. Organization committee: Dominique Fober, James Giroudon, Stéphane Letz and Yann Orlarey.
JIM 98
The JIM'98 took place in La Londe-les-Maures, from May 5 to 7 1998. They have been organized by Daniel Arfib (CNRS-LMA) and Jacques Dudon (Atelier d'Exploration Harmonique).
JIM 99
The JIM'99took place in Issy-les-Moulineaux, from May 17 to 19 1999. They have been organized by Jean-Michel Raczinski (CEMAMu) avec le soutien de l'ADERIM, du Ministère de la Culture et de la SFIM. Comité d'organisation : Gérard Marino, Vincent Fontalirant, Stéphane Sladek (CEMAMu), Gerard Pape (Ateliers UPIC), Vincent Lesbros (GAIV), François Pachet (Sony-CSL).


Reports of the conferences have been published in Computer Music Journal.
For 1994: CMJ, 18(4) 97-98. For 1995: CMJ 20(1): 102-103.

A synthetic book of the three first conferences has been published by Éditions Hermès.
