JIM'97 call for papers, posters and video presentations on recent computer music researches and applications concerning any sub-field of computer music, including and not limited to :
Papers : papers will be at most 8 pages long and will conform to the specifications given below. Each communication will be 30 mn long, questions included. Talks will be given in French or in English. There will be no simultaneous translation. A DAT, K7, CD player, an overhead projector , a slide projector and a video projector will be made available for the communications.
Videos : videos will be submitted in VHS, using one of the PAL, SECAM or NTSC format. They will be at most 20 mn long. Each submission will be given with a half page abstract.
Posters : each poster sessions will be a half day long. Submission consists in a 2 pages abstract. Practical and technical details will be mentionned at submission time.
Proposals wil be examined by a paper selection committee (see below) that may ask for details and corrections before full acceptance.

The JIM'97 are organized by Grame with the collaboration of the Bibliothèque Municipale de Lyon, and the support of the ADERIM and the Ministery of Culture.
The JIM supervision committee is a permanent non profit association : ADERIM (Association pour le Développement de l'Enseignement et de la Recherche en Informatique Musicale), c/o Myriam Desainte-Catherine, LaBRI, Université Bordeaux 1, 351 cours de la Libération, 33405 Talence.
The JIM'97 paper selection committee includes all the members of the JIM supervision committee and of the JIM'97 organization committee, as well as :
Submitted contributions must be sent before March 1, 1997. Definitive version (after acceptance) must be sent before May 1, 1997. All the contributions must be sent to :
Paper authors are required to send by March 1, 1996, a printed version of their paper in A4 format. After notification of acceptance by the paper selection committee, authors should send the final version of their paper (eventually modified according to the committee's remarks) by May 1, 1996. This final version should be sent in two forms : a printed camera-ready document, and an electronic document.
